Who we are
In response to the emerging need to provide a society offering equal status to representatives of biomedical engineering, the Consortium of Biomedical Engineers CBME was officially inaugurated in September 2008 by Shri. K. Mohanavelu, Scientist C, Defence Bioengineering & Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL), Bangalore under the gracious presence of the consortium’s president Dr. M. Anburajan, Head, Department of Biomedical Engineering, SRM University, Kattankulathur. Consortium of Biomedical Engineers (CBME) is an organization founded to accentuate the interaction of Biomedical Engineers under one roof, celebrating its 16-year history and growth.
What we do
CBME has transformed along with the time and now CBME is independently servicing as open Mentorship platform for
- Medical Devices & Equipment Professional
- Biomedical Professionals at Hospitals
- Biomedical PHD Scholars and Fellows
- Biomedical Engineering Graduates and Post Graduates (DBME/B.Tech BME/M.Tech BME) and Freshers
What we aim for
- CBME will be a one stop solution for all Medical Device/Equipment professionals ,Biomedical engineering pursuing candidates, Research Scholars & Faculty.
- To will establish Biomedical Engineering and its scope in the society.
- To train the society of Biomedical Engineers as the best health care providers.
- To create awareness of opportunities for a Biomedical Engineer.
- To support government hospitals as external support
